A full day in the Gocek bays on a wooden boat reserved entirely for your group.
A private boat tour from Gocek harbour: the boat is yours alone and you set the route and the timing. 25 km from Fethiye, a full day in the Gocek bays. There are two ways to do a boat tour in Gocek: join a busy shared day trip, or take the whole boat for yourself. This is the second one. No other guests come aboard our wooden boat, so the deck, the saloon, the table and the whole day belong to your group alone.
The day starts at Gocek harbour and never leaves the Gocek bays. Our classic route runs through the Yassica Islands, Bedri Rahmi Bay, Shipyard Island (Tersane) and Hamam Bay, and we can add the quieter Sarsala and Boynuzbuku coves on request. The shallow turquoise channel between the Yassica Islands is the easiest swimming spot for families with children. Bedri Rahmi Bay takes its name from the painter Bedri Rahmi Eyuboglu, who painted a fish onto the rock here. At Shipyard Island we anchor beside Byzantine ruins left from an ancient shipyard. Hamam Bay, where a warm spring meets the sea, is the cove linked to the Cleopatra legend.
The boat is set up for day cruising. There are cushioned sunbeds on the upper deck, a shaded lower deck with a long dining table, a galley, a fridge, a sound system and a clean toilet with a washbasin. A wooden boarding ladder is used for getting in and out of the water, and life rings and life jackets are kept on deck.
The timing is yours. You can leave early and be back in the afternoon, or stay out in the bays until sunset. You decide how long to spend at each stop; the captain only reorders the route when wind or sea conditions make it necessary. Lunch is cooked on board and served between swimming stops.
Gocek is 25 km from Fethiye centre. If you are staying in Fethiye, Oludeniz or Hisaronu, you can get here easily by car, dolmus or taxi, and we can also arrange a transfer on request.
